Corona Antibody Testing Kit Made By DRDO, Report Available In 75 Minutes At A Cost Of Rs. 75:

The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has developed a Dipcovan kit for antibody testing. According to the DRDO, the kit can detect the presence of both the SARS-Covy-2 virus and the fighting protein nucleocapsid (S&N) in the body. It will also report in 75 minutes at a price of only Rs 75 with 97% high sensitivity and 99% specification.

Testing was performed on 1000 patients

After testing on about 1000 patients in Delhi hospitals, it has been allowed to be put on the market. Over the last one year, three batches of this kit have been tested separately in hospitals. The kit has been developed by DRDO's Lab Defense Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences Laboratory in collaboration with Vanguard Diagnostics, a private company based in Delhi. This means it's about to be the most delusional time of the year, as well.

The kit will be available in the market from the first week of June

The ICMR approved the Dipcovan kit in April and the same month the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) approved its manufacture and sale in the market. Vanguard Ltd. will launch the kit commercially in the first week of June.

About 100 kits will be available at launch. It will test about 10,000 people and then produce 500 kits per month. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh lauded the DRDO's initiative, saying the kit would help people fight the Kovid epidemic.

DRDO has also launched the anti-covid drug 2DG

Earlier on Monday, DRDO's anti-corona drug 2DG was released for emergency use. This medicine is in the form of a powder. The drug will first be given to patients admitted to DRDO Kovid Hospital in Delhi.

We will give it to the rest of the states in the next phase. There is still a bit of a delay. 2DG drugs will be available at all locations from the first week of June.

He said the drug would work directly on corona virus-infected cells. The body's immune system will work and the patient will recover quickly. It is to take 2 doses in the morning and evening for at least 5-7 days depending on the weight of the patient and the doctor's prescription.
