Reliance will launch AI Chatbot Hanuman Next Month: Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries Ltd is gearing up to launch an AI chatbot 'Hanuman' similar to ChatGPT next month. For this the company is working together with 8 affiliated universities, named as 'Bharat GPT Group'. On Tuesday, the company showcased this AI chatbot during a technology conference.


During the presentation, a motorcycle mechanic from South India spoke to the AI bot in his native language Tamil. Whereas, a banker interacted with the tool in Hindi and a developer from Hyderabad used it to write computer code.


'Hanuman' will have speech-to-text capability

Ganesh Ramakrishnan, chairman of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay, said that this is a different style of LLM (Large Language Model). 'Hanuman' will also have speech-to-text capability. He said, 'Reliance Jio will also prepare customized models for specific users.


The company is also working on Jio Brain, a platform to use AI across its network of around 450 million customers. This is also important because millions of the country's population of 1.4 billion cannot read or write.


Reliance will also launch an operating system for television

Two months ago, Jio Infocomm chairman Akash Ambani said that the company is also considering bringing Jio's own operating system to televisions. Apart from this, Reliance Jio is preparing to launch products and services in various sectors like commerce, communication and devices.


Air Fiber was launched in September

The company launched its Air Fiber service on Ganesh Chaturthi on September 19 this year. The service was subsequently launched in 8 cities namely Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune. Jio has fixed a fee of Rs 1000 for installing Air Fiber. Now its service is available in 3939 towns.
