IPPB Bank launches new facility, money can now be deposited in Post Office RD account:

You can invest in the RD scheme with a minimum of Rs

If your recurring deposit (RD) account is in the post office, you no longer have to go to the post office to deposit money in it. You can deposit money online at Post Office RD through India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) application. Your monthly installments can be transferred online to your RD account through this application. For this, you need to install the IPPB application.

The process of depositing money from the app:

• Transfer money from your bank account to your IPPB account.

• Go to DOP Products and select Recurring Deposit here.

• Type RD account number and then DOP customer ID.

• Enter the installation period and amount.

• India Post Payments Bank will then notify you of payment transfer made through the IPPB application.

• You can also make regular payments through IPPB Savings Account in other schemes offered by India Post.

What is RD?

RD can help with big savings. You can use it as a piggy bank. This means you can deposit a certain amount in it every month after your salary and you will have a late amount in your hand when you mature. Post Office RD is earning 5.8% interest

100 can be invested

You can invest a minimum of Rs. 100 per month in this RD scheme. You can deposit any amount in multiples of more than 10. There is no limit to the maximum deposit.

IPPB was launched in 2018

India Post Payments Bank was launched on September 1, 2018. IPPB provides services through 1.55 lakh post offices and 3 lakh postal employees across the country. It has 1.35 lakh post offices in rural areas. IPPB is currently offering its services in 13 languages.
