Considering the safety of the people, the Indian government is going to take strict action against mobile manufacturing companies. Under that, now the companies have to provide an option to uninstall the pre-installed app on the mobile. Apart from this, major updates in the operating system will also be screened.

According to a Reuters report, companies like Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo and Apple will be affected by this decision of government. The smartphones of these companies already have some apps installed, which the user cannot uninstall from his smartphone.

New security regulations

However, no further information about the new security regulations has been revealed yet, but it is being said that the launch of the new smartphone may be affected by these regulations. However, India is the second-largest smartphone market in the world. The government is concerned about data espionage and its misuse

According to a Reuters report, the IT Ministry is concerned about the spying and misuse of user data. A senior officer said on condition of anonymity that the government is currently thinking about these rules. Pre-installed apps can prove to be a weak security point. We do not want any foreign power, including China, to take advantage of it. This is a matter of national security.


Soldiers and their families should not use Chinese mobile

Recently, in an advisory received through secret agencies, it was said that soldiers should not use Chinese mobile phones. Apart from this, families of soldiers have also been advised not to use Chinese smartphones. For this, all defense units and formations were asked to alert their personnel. This advisory was issued because there were cases of malware and spyware found in smartphones from Chinese companies.

300 Chinese apps have been banned

Central government takes strict measures against Chinese tech companies in 2020. The Indian government has banned more than 300 Chinese apps so far. Not only that, but Chinese companies are also showing a strict attitude toward investments made in India.
