Meri Mitti Mera Desh Mati Ko Naman Veeron Ko Vandan:

The Meri Maati Mera Desh (My Soil My Country) campaign is a nationwide people-led initiative to commemorate 75 years of India's Independence. It was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his 103rd edition of Mann Ki Baat programme on 28 February 2023. The campaign will run from 9 to 30 August 2023.

The campaign aims to instill a sense of national pride and patriotism among the people of India. It will also highlight the importance of the soil and the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and martyrs of the country.

The campaign will have five components:

1. Installation of statues of martyrs: Statues of martyrs will be installed in all villages, towns, and cities across India. This will help to keep the memory of the martyrs alive and inspire the youth to follow in their footsteps.

2. Hoisting of the national flag: The national flag will be hoisted on every home and public building on 15 August 2023. This will be a symbolic gesture of unity and patriotism.

3. Creation of an Amrit Vatika: An Amrit Vatika (garden of immortality) will be created in every district of India. This garden will be a symbol of the nation's journey of freedom and progress.

4. Swearing of a pledge: Citizens of India will be sworn in to uphold the Constitution and to protect the unity and integrity of the country.

5. Celebration of cultural events: Cultural events will be organized across India to celebrate the nation's diversity and heritage.

The Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign is a unique and innovative way to commemorate India's Independence Day. It is a chance for all Indians to come together and celebrate their love for the country. The campaign will also help to instill a sense of national pride and patriotism among the youth.
