Bharat Biotech Vaccine Covaxin will be produced in Ankleshwar:

The Covishield vaccine of Serum Institute of India and Covaxin vaccine of Bharat Biotech are currently recognized in India. At a time when every citizen in the country needs a vaccine, the emphasis is on increasing production. Now India Biotech's vaccine Covaxin is going to be produced in Ankleshwar.

The company’s subsidiary Chiron Behring will start production in Vaccines

Suchitra Ella, co-founder, and JMD of Bharat Biotech, tweeted that Chiron Behring Vaccines, a subsidiary of the Ankleshwar-based company, would start production. The formulation and packing process may start from the first week of June, while the production process in the company's two lines will also start soon.

The vaccine is currently being manufactured on a large scale in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Due to high demand for the vaccine in the country, it will now start production in Ankleshwar as well. Ankleshwar-based subsidiary Chiron Behring Vaccines has an annual production capacity of 200 million doses. The unit will begin production of the corona vaccine by stopping the production of the rabies vaccine.

It is not yet clear whether Gujaratis will get special benefits or not

It is not yet clear whether Gujaratis will get special benefits due to this product being launched in Gujarat. However, the production of vaccines, which are considered an important weapon to combat the global epidemic on the land of Gujarat, is being banned as an important and proud matter.
